Dead Women Walking Devon will take place in Exeter on Sunday 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and also the first day of 16 Days of Action.

This is a peaceful, silent walk to raise awareness of the two women a week in the UK who are murdered by men known to them.

It is the first event of its kind, following the success of marches in London and Manchester organised by Dead Women Walking UK.

Walkers will carry candles as the names of women killed in the last year are read out loud and ends in a vigil.

Please register your intention to walk with us below. We are requesting a £2.00 donation to cover the cost of a poncho for each participant.

Please note that this is a women-only march. We recognise domestic violence as a gendered crime and we welcome everyone to support the call to end all violence against women and girls. However, we request that men respect the need for women to represent women in the Dead Women Walking event.

There are other ways everyone can support the event, including by making a donation to SAFE to continue delivering our prevention and recovery services.

Thanks for your support.
