Dead Women Walking Devon will take place in Exeter on Sunday 25th November the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and also the first day of 16 Days of Action. This is a peaceful, silent walk to raise awareness of the two women a week in the UK who are murdered by men known to them.

Meeting at 12noon at St Sidwells Community Centre, Sidwell Street, Exeter EX4 6NN.

We will walk through the city centre and end the event with a vigil in Rougemont Park. We are allowing two hours for the gathering, walk and vigil. This may be shorter but we will be walking at a slow pace.

Please register your intention to walk with us below. We are requesting a £2.00 donation to cover the cost of a poncho for each participant, which can be paid to one of the organisers on the day.

Please note that this is a women-only march. We recognise domestic violence as a gendered crime and we welcome everyone to support the call to end all violence against women and girls. However, we request that men respect the need for women to represent women in the Dead Women Walking event.

There are other ways everyone can support the event, including by making a donation to SAFE to continue delivering our prevention and recovery services.

Thanks for your support.
