When Presenting the certificate denoting the £3000 grant, W. Bro. Dr. Reuben Ayres representing the Freemasons said, that any way we can help in protecting families and individuals within the community can only be beneficial, we are as passionate about ending abuse as are the staff of “SAFE” and we hope this small grant goes some way to enabling them to continue their good work. Jacinta Wainwright when receiving the certificate replied saying “We were thrilled to learn that Freemasons wished to support and partner with SAFE with this generous donation, joining “SAFE” in working to eradicate domestic abuse in all its forms; and to help the many thousands of adults and children across Devon suffering from this often hidden scourge in our community. Their donation greatly contributes to helping us continue our work during what are very difficult times for small local charities”.
