On Friday 3rd of March we held a fundraiser at the the Hole In The Wall and we are pleased to say it was a huge success!

We opened our doors to welcome guests as Graham Boyle from D-Gwil Music played some inviting guitar instrumental music. When everybody had arrived and found their teams we heard from our CEO Jacinta Wainwright who welcomed guests and informed us all about the marvellous work SAFE workers have been achieving in recent months and some exciting new projects which are coming up!

The evening was hosted by Iain Smith of Smith's winesMagdalen Road Exeter, along with his two colleagues. The wine tasting was a game of Call my Wine Bluff. Guests tasted the wine poured for them and Iain and his friends gave facts about the wine being tasted; however, only one of them was telling the truth! There was a total of six wines to taste. Iain and his friends put on a brilliant show! A lot of enjoyment had by all.

We had a raffle with some fantastic prizes, followed by some live jazz music from Pete Canter and his trio.

In total we raised £800.00. We can't thank everybody who came along and supported the event enough. Whether it be our performers, volunteers, raffle donations or guests. It was a great effort by all and the money will help make Devon a safer place.
