PART-TIME FINANCE MANAGER, Exeter (21.75 hours)

c£26,000 pro rata

Join our small, dedicated team and help end domestic violence and abuse.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for the development of an effective financial management strategy.

You key responsibilities will include:
  • The day to day accounting and financial management of the charity
  • Budgeting and reporting financial performance to the Board and Management Team
  • Providing governance support
  • Managing the Office & HR Administrator, Finance Assistant Volunteer and/or interns
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • An AAT qualification and at least two years experience of finance management
  • Knowledge of SORP and charity law
  • Confidence and competence with Sage and MS Office
  • Payroll knowledge and experience
  • Experience of preparing management accounts
  • Experience of liaising with auditors, bankers etc
  • Understanding of Data Protection and Equal Opportunities legislation
